Sometimes talking to nothing is beneficial: It never talks back, it never criticizes, and damn, it never leaves.

It gets kind of boring though, because you can't be praised, you can't be encouraged and it never leaves...

I sometimes wish for someone to talk to, share my thoughts and desires freely, not fear persecution or judgement but just a free exchange of thoughts. We can't act how we think, stream of consciousness is too dangerous for that, but I can still dream. If someone can write a thousand odd page novel about practically nothing but what he happened to be thinking at a time, it seems like a damn double standard to me not to be able to act that way.

So emptiness is fine because its safe, and I can let it all flow; I can be naked, I can be happy, I can sad, I can be vile and maybe even near death -- but it doesn't make the experience much more enjoyable then listening to paint dry.

Ahh, just letting it flow, just letting it all flow.
